Job Description: 2025 Summer Internships

Pay Rate: $17.00 to $21.00 per hour

Position Purpose: Veolia North America is offering summer internships in New Jersey for the year 2025. Interns will gain practical experience in at least one career function. Opportunities exist in the following areas:

Engineering
Watershed Maintenance
Laboratory
Customer Service Operations
Data Analytics
Communications
GIS

Primary Duties/Responsibilities:

• Execute tasks directly related to functional projects and/or process improvements.
• Communicate issues and roadblocks related to areas of responsibility.
• Assist in research or special projects across various areas to support business initiatives and objectives.
• Prepare and deliver insights and recommendations based on analyses.
• Produce findings and draw conclusions from analyses; make oral and written recommendations to management.
• Perform field-related duties as assigned.
• Internships focus on learning and exposure to fundamental business processes and procedures.

Qualifications:

Education/Experience/Background: High School Diploma/GED is required. Applicants must be working towards a four-year degree (Freshman, Sophomore, Junior, Senior, or recent graduate) in a related major. (Example: For an electrical engineering internship, a junior pursuing an electrical engineering or similar degree is required). A minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA is preferred. Applicants must be at least 18 years old.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Strong communication skills (written, verbal, listening, presentation, and facilitation). Ability to build collaborative relationships.
Required Certification/Licenses/Training: A valid driver’s license is preferred.
