Job Description: 2025 Summer Internship Program (Resume Submission)

The Port Authority of New York & New Jersey offers paid internships providing students with the opportunity to work with experienced professionals on assignments critical to building, operating, and maintaining transportation and infrastructure assets in New York and New Jersey.

Qualifications:
• Enrollment: Must be a college student enrolled through Summer 2025 and into the Fall 2025 semester.
• Software Proficiency: Experience with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, etc.).
• Communication Skills: Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Regional Interest: Interest in contributing to the success of the New York and New Jersey region.
• Public Service/Transportation Interest: Interest in public service and/or transportation.
• Learning Agility: Willingness to learn.
Internship Details:
• Program Length: Approximately 12 weeks, starting toward the end of May 2025.
• Work Format: Most internships are hybrid, but some are fully in-person.
