Job Description: 2025 Summer Internship (Procurement)

PulteGroup offers various Operations Internships, including a Procurement internship, providing a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the homebuilding industry. Interns will gain a holistic understanding of the industry through rotational shadowing across various functions and departments.

Specific Responsibilities (Procurement):

• Work collaboratively with different roles and departments, fostering connections and breaking down silos.
• Collaborate with vendors, understanding their crucial role in PulteGroup’s operations.
• Shadow and learn about bid submittals, negotiation, and cost-saving strategies.

General Internship Experience:

• Work alongside experienced professionals, mirroring their schedules and flexibility.
• Contribute to meaningful projects within your designated function.
• Participate in centralized training and development opportunities.
• Conclude the internship with a capstone presentation to local Division leadership.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Must be at least 18 years old and authorized to work in the United States.
• Undergraduate or graduate student enrollment (or recent graduate from the preceding semester) is required; sophomore status preferred.
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 preferred.
Required Skills: Curious, coachable, personable, patient, action-oriented, accountable, motivated, enthusiastic, strong verbal and written communication skills, tech-savvy (Excel and Microsoft Teams experience), strong organizational skills, self-motivation, learning agility, bias for action, and a strong interest in the homebuilding, real estate, or construction industry. Extracurricular involvement is a plus.

Internship Details:

Dates: May 19, 2025 – August 8, 2025 (12 weeks). Schedule may be adjusted.
Hours: 40 hours per week; schedule varies by position.
Compensation: $20/hour (pay varies by position and location).
Benefits: Eligibility for the company’s 401(k) plan.
Format: Primarily in-person at one of 29 Division Offices or in development communities. A holistic view of the homebuilding process will be provided. A capstone presentation or final project may be included.
