Job Description: 2025 Summer Internship (Pipeline Requisition)

HP is seeking innovative students for its 2025 Summer Internship program. This is a 12-week paid internship designed to bridge classroom learning with real-world challenges. The program offers a blend of networking opportunities, executive speaker sessions, community involvement, substantial projects, and social events. The internship is intended to lead to a full-time position upon successful completion (pending performance evaluation and available headcount). Important Note: Full-time conversion will not include work authorization sponsorship. Applicants must be currently eligible to work in the US and not require future sponsorship. HP will not assist with immigration sponsorship, including CPT or OPT.

The Team (Personal Systems):

HP’s Personal Systems division operates on three main pillars:

1. Advancing Leadership in Computing: Developing laptops, desktops, business PCs, gaming PCs, Chromebooks, education-specific PCs, creator-specific PCs, and workstations. The pandemic highlighted the essentiality of PCs.

2. Creating Leadership in Peripherals: Producing monitors, docks, webcams, keyboards, and mice. HP emphasizes the importance of peripherals in creating immersive experiences and notes their higher replacement frequency compared to notebooks. The recent acquisitions of HyperX (high-quality gaming gear) and Poly (4K video conferencing solutions) enhance this area.

3. Expanding Digital Services: Addressing the increasing demand for digital services due to hybrid work and increased digital platform usage (gaming, shopping, connecting). HP leverages its PC and printing expertise to assist IT in managing remote work challenges (onboarding, productivity, remote computing) through its acquisition of Teradici.

All three pillars are supported by a focus on security and sustainability. The overall mission is to deliver new digital experiences, creating a full ecosystem experience through PCs, peripherals, and services. Major goals include leading in hybrid work and gaming solutions.
