Job Description: 2025 Summer Internship – Personal Systems
HP is seeking innovative students for their 2025 summer internship program within Personal Systems. This 12-week paid internship offers a blend of practical experience, networking, and professional development. Interns will contribute to real-world projects, engage in networking opportunities, attend executive speaker sessions, participate in community involvement activities, and enjoy social events. The program aims to bridge classroom learning with real-world challenges.
The Personal Systems team focuses on three key pillars:
1. Advancing Leadership in Computing: Developing laptops, desktops, business PCs, gaming PCs, Chromebooks, education-specific PCs, creator-specific PCs, and workstations. The pandemic highlighted the essential role of PCs.
2. Creating Leadership in Peripherals: Designing and producing monitors, docks, webcams, keyboards, and mice. The team emphasizes the importance of peripherals in creating immersive user experiences, noting that peripherals are replaced more frequently than notebooks. This pillar includes their acquisitions of HyperX (high-quality gaming gear) and Poly (4K video conferencing solutions).
3. Expanding Digital Services: Addressing the growing demand for digital services due to hybrid work models and increased digital platform usage (gaming, shopping, connecting). HP’s unique position allows them to assist IT departments with solutions integrating PCs and printers. Their acquisition of Teradici aids in tackling the challenges of remote workforces (onboarding, productivity, remote computing).
All three pillars are underpinned by a commitment to security and sustainability. The overarching mission is to deliver new digital experiences, creating a full ecosystem experience through PCs, peripherals, and services. The major goals are to lead in hybrid work and gaming solutions.
