Job Description: 2025 Summer Internship – Personal Systems
HP’s Personal Systems division is seeking interns for its 2025 summer internship program. This 12-week paid internship offers a blend of networking opportunities, executive speaker sessions, community involvement, challenging projects, and social events. The program aims to bridge classroom learning with real-world challenges. The internship is intended to potentially lead to a full-time position post-graduation, *however, HP does not offer work authorization sponsorship for this full-time conversion*.
Personal Systems Focus Areas:
The Personal Systems division operates across three main pillars:
1. Advancing Leadership in Computing: Developing laptops, desktops, business PCs, gaming PCs, Chromebooks, education-specific PCs, creator-specific PCs, and workstations.
2. Creating Leadership in Peripherals: Designing and producing monitors, docks, webcams, keyboards, and mice. HP highlights the frequent replacement of peripherals compared to notebooks, emphasizing market opportunity. Their recent acquisitions of HyperX (gaming gear) and Poly (4K video conferencing solutions) are also mentioned.
3. Expanding Digital Services: Providing services to support the increasing hybrid workforce and digital platform usage. This includes addressing remote workforce challenges (onboarding, productivity, remote computing) through acquisitions like Teradici.
The overarching mission is to deliver new digital experiences through an integrated ecosystem of PCs, peripherals, and services, with a strategic focus on leadership in hybrid work and gaming.
Requirements:
• Completion of the 3rd year of a Bachelor’s degree or the 1st year of a Master’s/MBA program. A non-technical degree is typical.
• Full-time enrollment at an accredited university.
• Eligibility to work in the US in 2025 and beyond *without• requiring future work authorization sponsorship (no CPT or OPT support).

• Project experience showcasing strong analytical, modeling, and research skills.

• Ability to navigate ambiguous and unstructured work environments.
• Teamwork skills and ability to guide executives and peers.
• Strong public speaking and workshop/conversation facilitation skills.

• Proficiency in MS PowerPoint and MS Excel.
