Job Description: PulteGroup 2025 Summer Internship
PulteGroup offers various summer internships across multiple departments, providing a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the homebuilding industry. Internships are designed to provide a holistic understanding of the business, including rotational shadowing across various functions and departments.
Key aspects of the internship include:
• Rotational Shadowing: Gain broad exposure to different aspects of the homebuilding process.
• Meaningful Projects: Contribute to real-world projects within your designated function, working alongside experienced professionals.
• Centralized Training: Participate in company-provided training and development opportunities throughout the summer.
• Capstone Presentation: Conclude the internship with a presentation showcasing your experience and ideas to local Division leadership.
Specific Responsibilities (Finance Internship example):
The Finance internship focuses on developing critical reporting literacy essential to the homebuilding business. Interns will:
• Gain experience in land acquisition financial analytics.
• Assist in advising on business decisions and opportunities.
• Act as a “financial bridge” connecting various departments (sales, field construction).
• Contribute to the overall fiscal success of projects.
General Requirements for all Internships:
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 18 years of age.
• US work authorization.
• Undergraduate or graduate student status (minimum sophomore status preferred).
• Minimum 2.5 GPA preferred.
• Required Skills: Curiosity, coachability, strong communication (written and verbal), tech-savviness (especially Excel and Microsoft Teams), organization, self-motivation, adaptability, a bias for action, and a strong interest in the homebuilding/real estate/construction industry. Extracurricular involvement is a plus.
Internship Details:
• Dates: May 19, 2025 – August 8, 2025 (12 weeks) – schedule may be adjusted.
• Hours: 40 hours per week.
• Compensation: $20/hour (may vary by position and location).
• Benefits: Eligibility for the company’s 401(k) plan.
• Format: Primarily in-person at one of 29 Division Offices or development communities.
• Locations: Arizona (Scottsdale), Colorado (Denver), Florida (Bonita Springs, Jacksonville, Orlando, Riverview, West Palm Beach), Nevada (Las Vegas), North Carolina (Charlotte, Raleigh).
