2025 Summer Internship: Supply Chain

Location: Orchard Park, NY

Major(s): Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Management – General, Finance

Class year desired: Senior / Grad

Academic Schedule: May – August 2025, full-time, 40 hours per week

About the Experience:

Interns will:

• Work closely with experienced professionals and industry experts.
• Gain valuable insights into engineering processes, product development, and problem-solving strategies.
• Develop technical skills and industry knowledge for a successful career in manufacturing supply chain.
• Have access to state-of-the-art facilities and mentorship from leading professionals.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Support strategic sourcing & supply chain projects, including:
Vendor facing: supplier quality performance, vendor annual certifications, creating a risk assessment matrix to optimize purchasing objectives.
Internal: identify areas for improvement in current P.O. management, vendor rationalization, supporting SQM metrics.

Position Requirements:

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team environment with a strong sense of urgency and understanding of priorities.
• Collaborative individual with initiative, understanding the needs, requirements & priorities of other functional groups.
• Effective communication skills aimed at suppliers.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Experience working with Microsoft Office Suite – advance proficiency required in MS Excel and MS PowerPoint.

Compensation: Equal Pay Act Range $22-$25/hr.
