Job Description: 2025 Summer Intern – PepsiCo Procurement (Undergraduate)
The Internship
This 10-week summer internship program provides a unique opportunity to independently solve a critical business problem within PepsiCo’s Procurement function. Each intern will be assigned to a specific category within Procurement, such as Packaging, Ingredients, Supply Assurance, Commodity Risk Management, or Indirects.
What You’ll Do:
• Develop Procurement Strategies: Create comprehensive strategies and programs that improve quality, productivity, sustainability, and innovation within your assigned category.
• Gain Procurement Expertise: Develop a deep understanding of procurement fundamentals, category-specific knowledge, and functional knowledge like cost management, responsible sourcing, and ethical sourcing.
• Gather and Analyze Data: Conduct research, gather data, and analyze it to provide meaningful insights and recommendations.
• Work Cross-Functionally: Collaborate with teams across the company, including R&D, Marketing, Finance, Legal, and Manufacturing.
• Lead a Project: Independently solve a critical business problem presented by your team and deliver a final presentation with your recommendations.
Internship Structure:
• Each intern will receive a timely question from their team.
• You’ll have the autonomy to set your agenda, workflow, and output.
• You’ll receive support and guidance from your manager and the broader Procurement function.
• You’ll have access to best-in-class exposure to senior leadership, educational sessions about the PepsiCo organization, and networking opportunities with other interns.
Previous Internship Projects:
• Should PepsiCo vertically integrate the production of Popcorners or rely on external manufacturing?
• What are the advantages/disadvantages of localizing overseas operations?
• Develop a sustainability scheme for apple juice sourcing.
• Track supplier greenhouse gas reductions and develop optimization recommendations.
• Analyze different sourcing strategies and their applications within PepsiCo.
Compensation & Benefits:
• hourly pay ranging from $21.50 to $40.19/hour.

Qualifications:
• Degree: Currently pursuing a degree in Finance, Economics, Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Agribusiness, or Agronomy (other related majors may be considered).

• Proven leadership abilities
• Ability to work independently and make decisions quickly
• Experience working in a challenging environment
• Strong coaching, facilitation, presentation, and team building skills

• Preferred:
• Prior knowledge or experience with a consumer-packaged goods corporation.
• Experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, operations, supply chain, or consulting.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Graduation date: December 2025 or May 2026
• Indefinite right to work in the United States.
