Description: 2025 Summer Finance Innovation & Technology (FIT) Program

This program offers undergraduate students a challenging summer internship opportunity to develop technology solutions for finance within Marsh McLennan’s Finance groups. The program runs from June 2nd to August 8th, 2025, in the New York City office (1166 Avenue of the Americas). The hourly rate is $30, but may be adjusted based on experience, skills, and other factors.

Responsibilities: Interns will gain hands-on experience in various areas, including:

Learning, networking, and participation in company events.
Data analytics: Utilizing data to inform financial decisions.
Automating accounting policies: Developing technological solutions to streamline accounting processes.
Agile auditing methodology: Implementing agile principles in auditing procedures.
Optimizing manual processes: Improving efficiency in budgeting, forecasting, and other manual tasks.
Blockchain technology: Exploring applications of blockchain for cash management and payments.
Predictive modeling: Using data to forecast workforce trends.
Implementation of NLG, NLP, NLU, and NLQ solutions: Applying natural language processing techniques to analyze structured and unstructured data (e.g., insurance binders, contracts).

Currently pursuings:

• Undergraduate student (preferred graduation date on or before Spring 2026).
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
• Preferred majors are in technology, with a demonstrated interest in finance.
• Basic knowledge of programming languages (SQL, Python, or similar) and operating systems (Windows, Linux).
• Prior internship or work experience is desirable but not mandatory.
• Legal authorization to work permanently in the U.S. without sponsorship.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively in teams and across different groups.
• Interest in networking and building professional relationships.
• Basic project management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
• Agile mindset and a desire to make an impact.
