Description: 2025 Software Engineer Program – Summer Internship

Short Description:

Detailed Description:

This Software Engineer Internship is a pipeline to JPMorgan Chase’s full-time Software Engineer Program. As a Summer Intern, you will contribute to building and optimizing digital applications and systems that support millions of customers, clients, and employees worldwide.

The Internship will include:

Induction: A comprehensive overview of JPMorgan Chase’s tech strategies, products, and systems, along with an introduction to the company’s technology community.
Teamwork: You will work in an agile team alongside peers and experienced software engineers, allowing you to grow your skills, share ideas, and innovate.
Professional Development: The summer internship offers opportunities for deeper insights into working at JPMorgan Chase through networking events, senior speaker sessions, and peer-mentorship programs.

Top performers at the end of the summer may receive the opportunity to join the company for a full-time role upon graduation.

Internship Responsibilities:

• Create innovative solutions that make a real difference for customers, clients, and employees.
• Work collaboratively on agile teams with peers and experienced software engineers.

Required Currently pursuings, Capabilities, and Skills:

• Pursuing a B.A., B.S., or 5th-year M.A. or M.S. with expected graduation between December 2025 and June 2027 (all majors considered).
• A well-rounded academic background.
• Foundational knowledge of programming languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript, Java, C++, C#), databases, data structures, and algorithms.
• Experience across the entire Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Exposure to agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security.
• Emerging knowledge of software applications and technical processes within a technical discipline (e.g., cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, mobile, etc.).
• Familiarity with industry-wide technology trends and best practices.
• Ability to work in large, collaborative teams to achieve organizational goals, and a passion for building an innovative culture.
• Understanding of software skills such as business analysis, development, maintenance, and software improvement.

Preferred Currently pursuings, Capabilities, and Skills:

• Computer Science and/or Engineering majors are preferred.
