The Newton Food Pantry
About Company
Founded in 1983, The Newton Food Pantry stands as the oldest and largest independent non-profit dedicated to alleviating food insecurity within the Newton community. We are committed to providing supplemental food and essential personal care products to residents in need, ensuring every individual is served with dignity, compassion, and respect.
Our operations extend beyond direct service, reaching over 2,500 Newton residents through bi-monthly choice shopping and convenient deliveries. We also support wider community efforts through off-site initiatives including the Newton Community freedge, the Lasell University Dry Pantry, and the Wiliam James College Dry Pantry. Driven by a culture of service and empathy, we invite you to learn more about our mission and impact.
