About Company

The Lawyers’ Committee for Civil Rights Under Law is a nonpartisan, nonprofit organization dedicated to securing equal justice for all through the rule of law. Established in 1963 at the request of President John F. Kennedy, our foundational mission was to mobilize the private bar’s expertise and resources to combat racial discrimination and the resulting inequality of opportunity. This vital work continues today, focused on addressing inequities confronting African Americans and other racial and ethnic minorities.

Our culture is defined by a commitment to principled advocacy and impactful change, fostering an environment where legal professionals collaboratively work towards a more equitable society. While our work addresses national challenges, we unite dedicated individuals passionate about civil rights. We invite you to learn more about our mission and how you can support our efforts.
