Since 1975, Shelter Youth & Family Services has been dedicated to ending the cycle of child abuse by providing comprehensive support to children, their families, and our community. We offer essential emergency and longer-term community-based housing, along with vital emotional and physical care, programs, and services for children and adolescents who have experienced abuse, neglect, dependency, or are in need of supervision. Our ultimate vision is for every child to grow up in a safe and loving home, building safer, healthier, and brighter futures.

Driven by a compassionate commitment, our dedicated team provides unwavering support 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. We proudly serve children and families within the communities of Elk Grove, Palatine, Schaumburg, Vernon, and Wheeling townships.
