About Company

Our 15-member body, appointed by state leaders, oversees legal representation for indigent persons in Massachusetts.
We provide essential counsel in all matters requiring appointment, spanning criminal, civil, and administrative proceedings.
Our services encompass criminal, child welfare, mental health, and specialized registry cases, alongside appeals.
Representation is delivered by approximately 500 staff attorneys and 3,000 certified private attorneys.
Specialized divisions offer comprehensive support and supervision for these attorneys.
An Immigration Impact Unit provides further training and litigation support for noncitizen clients.
