Software Engineer Intern

Performed testing on new versions of aviation software with 300+ test cases through the Zephyr Scale to ensure the stability of new versions. Integrated four flight joysticks into ongoing project by parsing binary data and creating multiple configuration files. Developed a full-stack program utilizing JavaFX and the JInput library to easily test joystick hardware functionality and assess the usability of configuration files by analyzing event data in real time.

Research Assistant

Utilize ETAP (Electrical Transient Analyzer Program) to analyze power systems by using Load Flow, Short Circuit, Arc Flash, and Relay Coordination studies. Optimize relay coordination scheme for protecting a microgrid system using renewable energy through running simulations in ETAP and ETAP’s Python API. Analyzed a Vehicle-to-Grid (V2G) system model in Simulink by outputting active power from renewable energy sources and residential loads.

Tennis Instructor

Organize and administer lesson plans with drills and games to help groups of around 10 students ages 4 to 13 advance basic tennis fundamentals. Collaborate with other instructors to coordinate drills and serve as hitting partner for adults.
