• Sales outreach: Responsibilities include reaching out to prospective customers in a respectful manner designed to encourage a positive response, even if a purchase isn’t immediate. Creativity is key to ensuring every outreach leaves the recipient feeling good.
• General marketing activities: Interns will contribute their creativity, ideas, and skills to Qwyse‘s multi-channel marketing efforts, learning best practices along the way. This may involve assisting with email newsletter campaigns, ideating blog posts, or attending university career events to share company materials.
Who They Are Looking For (“What We’re Looking For – Who You Are”):
• A Student: Currently enrolled in a college or university, or a recent graduate (within 3 months).
• A Go-Getter: Someone proactive, not afraid to take initiative, ask questions, and is more of a doer than an observer.
• A Collaborator: Enjoys working with others and brings a positive attitude.
• A Creative Thinker: Possesses a knack for generating and sharing innovative ideas.
• A Sense of Humor: A playful individual who can see the funny side of things and bring levity to the content created.
Important Details (“The Nitty-Gritty”):
• Duration: 6-8 weeks, with flexibility based on the intern’s availability.
• Location: Fully Remote (US-based only), allowing work from anywhere with reliable internet.
• Hours: Approximately 10 hours per week, with flexibility to accommodate academic schedules and personal life.
• Compensation: $15 per hour.
Why You Should Apply:
• Real-World Experience: This internship offers impactful, hands-on work that will significantly enhance a resume, moving beyond typical intern tasks.
• Mentorship: Interns will receive guidance and learn from experienced professionals who are genuinely invested in their growth.
• Startup Culture: The environment is characterized by collaboration, innovation, and a “healthy dose of silliness,” avoiding a “stuffy corporate vibe.”
Application Process:
Applicants are encouraged to apply via the provided website link. Qwyse prioritizes real examples of work (such as TikTok videos, memes, or other creative projects) over traditional fancy resumes. A cover letter is not required; instead, applicants should provide a brief reflection (1-5 sentences) on why they believe the internship is a good fit for them, highlighting their suitability for the role in a short and direct manner, emphasizing their natural voice and authenticity.
