About the Job
This is a Sports Management Intern position where you will work directly with Volo’s experienced team, contributing to day-to-day league operations. The internship focuses on gaining practical experience in areas such as customer service, partner relations, and data management.
Training provided includes an overview of sales, business development, networking, operations, and finance. The program is designed to equip interns with valuable knowledge and expertise for future career endeavors in the sports industry, with a potential opportunity for permanent hire upon completion.

• Interns have the Opportunity to make money by hosting or refereeing leagues.
• It provides Invaluable experience in sports management from leaders in the social sports industry.
• There’s a direct Opportunity for full time position.
• Interns also receive Free sports leagues & events.
INTERNSHIP PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Sports Operations duties include:
• Assisting with game reports, customer service inquiries, scheduling, and data entry.
• Supporting league audits & evaluations.
• Providing administrative and clerical support across all departments.
• Making sales calls to team captains to inform them of upcoming events and registration deadlines.
• Managing inventory and upkeep of sports equipment and shirts.
• Providing facility and field maintenance as needed and suggesting venue improvements.
• Handling other league-day preparations, such as field setup and supervision.
• Setting up & taking down fields and/or Bar set up.
• Using the host app to check in players as needed.
• Executing fundraising activities to support kids’ programs.
• Encouraging and maintaining a quality experience throughout the league.
• Ensuring players meet & feel welcome.
Qualifications
The Ideal candidate for this role possesses:
• A strong Passion for sports and social activities.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• A Self-directed leader who takes initiative and a solutions-oriented approach to problem-solving, demonstrating a willingness to learn and improve.
• Comfort with all types of clients and decision-makers, able to put the customer first to solve their problems.
• The ability to work well in a team atmosphere and requires low supervision/direction.
• Self-reliance and eagerness to take on any task, regardless of size.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Current enrollment in college or recent graduation.
• Punctuality and professionalism, combined with an embrace of a “work hard, play hard” attitude.
