Job Description: Global Product Innovation Intern
The Dermalogica Global Marketing team is seeking a creative, enthusiastic, and diligent Global Product Innovation Intern. This role involves directly assisting the Global Product Innovation team in various crucial aspects of product development and launch.
This is a paid, part-time internship designed to be long-term (6 months to 1 year). Candidates must be local to the area and will work in a hybrid environment (3 days in office).
What You’ll Do:
• Assist in the development and execution of marketing plans, product introduction, and promotional programs.
• Initiate documents necessary for the launch development process.
• Assist in managing artwork updates.
• Conduct competitive product and positioning analysis.
• Organize, label, and distribute comps and lab samples.
• Participate in innovation brainstorming meetings.
• Assist in the development of products and campaigns.
• Assist in managing new launches.
• Support the team with day-to-day functions.
What You’ll Bring (Qualifications & Skills):
Key Qualifications:
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Strong interest in the skincare, health, and beauty industries; experience in one or more of these industries is preferred.
• An MBA is a plus.
Key Skills and Abilities:
• Ability to think creatively and execute tasks efficiently.
• Must be detail-oriented, reliable, and able to meet deadlines.
