Job Description
This role, likely for a Radiologic Technologist Student/Intern given the enrollment requirement, operates under the supervision of a supervisor.
Key Responsibilities:
• Performing Radiology Procedures: The primary duty involves executing radiology procedures on patients strictly following prescribed procedures and protocols, as requested by physicians.
• Patient Care: Provides comprehensive patient care across various age groups, including neonate, pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
• Education: Must be actively enrolled in an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
• Experience: Must have completed appropriate student rotation within the field.
• Licensure: Requires an Ohio General Machine Operators license specifically relevant to Radiology.
• Interpersonal Skills: Possesses strong interpersonal abilities to effectively interact with patients and facility personnel.
• Certifications: Must hold a current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
Training:
• The role may involve an additional two to four weeks of on-the-job training to ensure full familiarity with the specific facility and department policies and procedures.
Shift Schedule:
• The position requires availability across Monday – Friday, weekends, holidays, and includes on-call responsibilities.
