About the Company
Guthrie Clinic (referred to as Guthrie) is a fully integrated healthcare system that serves Northeast Pennsylvania and the Southern Tier region of New York. It operates as a non-profit, physician-led organization with a founding principle to provide the same high-quality medical care to people in small towns as those in large cities.
Guthrie’s network encompasses six hospitals and 76 regional offices across a 13-county catchment area (the Twin Tiers of NY and PA). Their team comprises nearly 1,000 Physicians and Advanced Practitioners, collectively providing over 2 million patient visits annually.
A key facility within the system is Guthrie Robert Packer Hospital in Sayre, PA. This is a 254-bed tertiary care referral center that has received numerous national awards for high-quality patient care. It is accredited by the Pennsylvania Trauma Systems Foundation as a Regional Level I Trauma Center and is supported by Guthrie Air, a regional aeromedical helicopter program.
