Job Description
This opportunity is for an Emergency Medicine Physician with a Core Faculty position supporting Guthrie’s Emergency Medicine Residency program.
Key Highlights of the Opportunity:
• Salary: A competitive starting salary ranging from $423,000 to $423,225.
• Sign-on/Loan Repayment: A choice between a $100,000 starting bonus or $200,000 in loan repayment options.

• Location & Shared Staffing: The primary location is Sayre, PA (Guthrie Robert Packer Hospital), but the role involves shared staffing across several facilities:
• Guthrie Robert Packer Hospital: A Level I Trauma Center.
• Guthrie Corning Hospital: A provisional Level III Trauma Center.
• Guthrie Robert Packer Hospital Towanda Campus: A low-volume community hospital.
• Guthrie Troy Community Hospital: A low-volume, low-acuity critical access hospital and Level IV Trauma Center.
• Protected Administrative Time: Dedicated time for administrative duties, supporting the faculty role.
• Facilities & Technology:
• On-site helipad for efficient patient transport.
• Epic EMR fully integrated throughout Guthrie’s network.
• 24-hour OB coverage and 24-hour Radiology reads are available.
Candidate Requirements:
• Commitment: An unwavering commitment to Guthrie’s mission of improving health through clinical excellence and compassion.
• Certification: ABEM or AOBEM certification or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine.
• Experience: 3 years of experience in an ACGME accredited program and 3 years of clinical experience are preferred.
