Job Description (Detailed)
Role: Human Resources Intern
Focus Area: This internship is specifically within the Human Resources function, with a dedicated focus on Compensation as a shared service partner. The intern will gain practical, hands-on experience by collaborating closely with the Compensation Manager and Senior Director.
Key Responsibilities:
• Daily Support: Assist with the day-to-day responsibilities of the compensation team to effectively support internal clients.
• Reporting & Coordination: Help with the coordination of organizational charts and various general reports, including wage, bonus, and performance management data.
• Email Management: Support the management of the compensation department’s email inbox and handle incoming requests.
• Wage Analysis: Conduct fundamental wage analysis specifically for Drivers and Technicians/Mechanics.
• Project Assistance: Provide support to members of the Compensation department on various special projects.
• Other Duties: Undertake other tasks as assigned by the team.
Qualifications:
• Education: Must be currently enrolled at an accredited college or university.
• Field of Study: Pursuing a degree in Business, Human Resources, Analytics, or Economics.
• Technical Skills: Demonstrated experience using Microsoft Excel is required.
• Work Ethic: Possess the ability to work independently.
