1. Primary Purpose:
• To contribute to the creation of built environments as part of a multidisciplinary team.

• Education: Completion of 3+ years of an A&E related undergraduate program.
• Technical Skills: Basic knowledge of industry-standard software including Autodesk Revit, AutoCADD, Adobe Suite, Microsoft Office suite, and Outlook.
• Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to learn and adapt to new challenges.
• Collaboration & Communication: Ability to effectively collaborate and communicate with other team members.
• Design Passion: A strong passion for client-focused design.

3. Core Responsibilities & Tasks:
• Drawing & BIM Model Preparation: Under the supervision of an experienced architect or engineer, you will be responsible for preparing clear, concise, readable drawings and BIM models. This includes model setup, input, and red-line correction changes based on furnished basic design criteria.
• Research & Specifications: Conduct basic materials research and assist with specification preparation and writing.
• Cost Estimation: Assist with cost-estimating take-offs and data input.
• Construction Observation: Assist with or provide on-site construction observation on simple projects.
• Project Leadership (Potential): Potentially lead small projects under the direct supervision of a supervisor.
• Continuous Learning: Attend weekly classes and watch training videos to enhance skills.
• Team Collaboration: Work alongside and learn from professionals in parallel disciplines.
• Inter-Office Work: Collaborate with project teams spanning several of Cushing Terrell’s offices across the nation.
• Client Engagement: Work with a variety of local and national clients.
• Site Visits (Occasional): Participate in visits to construction sites with project leaders, depending on the project phase and time of year.
4. Work Environment & Physical Requirements:
• Primary Setting: The majority of the time will be spent sitting in an office with limited physical demands.
• Office Physicality: May require individuals to bend, stretch, twist, and reach within an office setting.
• Occasional Field Work: On occasion, individuals will be required to visit a client site to perform site verifications and field surveys.
