This office space facilitates open-office work, brainstorming sessions, and client meetings. Team members may occasionally be required to be at the office for specific meetings or to meet clients in person at other locations. The team also holds periodic scheduled in-person team meetings and outings, in addition to regular Zoom huddles.
About the Job: Content Curator Internship – Nashville Market
This is a Content Curator Internship based in the Nashville market, offering a hybrid/flexible schedule. The internship type is customizable, available as either a paid hourly position or for academic credit. The intern will report primarily to the CEO, with oversight from a Content Marketing Strategist.
The primary objective of this internship is to capture local content (photos and videos) for Green Apple Strategy’s Nashville-based clients. Interns will receive a monthly shot sheet and be responsible for independently scheduling and gathering visual content around Middle Tennessee. This role offers the flexibility to complete assignments on your own time, providing hands-on experience in marketing, content strategy, and visual storytelling. It is ideal for individuals pursuing careers in marketing, media, journalism, communications, or content creation, seeking to build a professional portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:
• Content Execution: Review and execute a monthly shot list and content capture plan.
• On-Site Production: Schedule and conduct on-site photo and video shoots at client or community locations.
• Visual Content Creation: Capture engaging, high-quality imagery and short-form videos specifically optimized for social media platforms.
• Content Management: Upload raw content and organize files efficiently for the Green Apple Strategy team to utilize in various marketing campaigns.
• Collaboration: Actively collaborate with the Green Apple team to brainstorm creative content ideas that align with client goals and marketing objectives.
• Communication: Maintain clear and consistent communication with your supervisor and the Client Relations team regarding deadlines, scheduling, and creative direction to ensure a smooth workflow.
Qualifications:
• Educational Background: Currently pursuing a degree in marketing, media, communications, journalism, or a related field; equivalent experience will also be considered.
• Interest & Skills: Demonstrated strong interest in photography, videography, and social media content creation.
• Work Ethic: Ability to work independently, consistently meet deadlines, and maintain excellent organizational skills.
• Transportation: Must possess reliable transportation to travel to various shoot locations around Nashville. Mileage incurred for work-related travel will be reimbursed at the state reimbursement rate, with weekly mileage reports required.
• Technical Skills (Bonus): Experience with mobile or DSLR photo/video equipment is a plus, but not a strict requirement. Familiarity with social media platforms like Instagram Reels and TikTok is also a bonus.
Time Commitment:
• Weekly Hours: Up to 5–10 hours per week, with a flexible schedule designed to accommodate class or other work commitments.
• Ideal Duration: An ideal commitment period of 3–6 months is preferred.
