About the Job: Internship

This is a non-paid internship opportunity, with the potential for college credit based on the intern’s academic institution’s requirements. It offers a unique chance to work within a fast-paced, team environment and gain hands-on experience in a company that supports a vibrant ecosystem of growth-phase start-ups.

Day-to-Day Experiences & Learning:
Interns will be actively involved in meeting Workville’s diverse community of members and will receive top-tier coaching directly from the CEO. The internship is designed to be highly customizable; Workville is committed to catering the experience to the intern’s needs and interests, providing extensive mentoring and coaching in chosen focus areas.

Key Skills Developed & Required:
This internship provides exposure and development in a broad range of critical business skills, including sales, marketing, customer service, brand development, hospitality, technology, and real estate. The ideal candidate will possess the polish and demeanor of a true professional, demonstrating strong attention to detail.

Core Responsibilities:

Front Desk Management: This pivotal role serves as the first and last impression for all visitors and members. Responsibilities include:
• Warmly welcoming guests.
• Efficiently directing sales leads.
• Proactively problem-solving member questions and issues.
• Actively networking and engaging with members.
• Managing mail delivery.
• This aspect of the role provides extensive experience in customer service, hospitality, sales, and marketing.
Content Creation:
• Creating and/or researching compelling content for Workville’s social media platforms and website.

Required Qualifications:

High School Diploma
Strong people skills, demonstrating an ability to interact effectively and positively with diverse individuals.
Ability to multitask efficiently in a dynamic environment.
Proven social media awareness and a demonstrated ability to create engaging and compelling posts.
Proficiency in computer applications, specifically Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and various social media platforms.
• An enterprising personality with a genuine interest in supporting entrepreneurs and the startup community.
