This job is for the 2026 Commercial Banking Summer Internship – Early Careers at Wells Fargo. It is a structured, 10-week program designed to provide undergraduate students with a fundamental understanding of Commercial Banking and potential career paths within the industry.

Program Overview:
Interns will gain hands-on experience working with experienced teams within one of Wells Fargo’s Commercial Banking businesses, getting exposure to the company’s operations, business strategies, and culture. The program is focused on intern development, helping prepare them for future career steps. It provides insight into Wells Fargo’s corporate and credit culture, opportunities for professional development, skill acquisition, community involvement, networking, and analytical training in line of business-specific concepts.

Key Components of the Summer Program:
Induction Week: A week-long onboarding and training session with interns from across Wells Fargo, offering a jump start to the experience and networking opportunities with peers and leaders.
On-the-job experience: Interns will have meaningful and in-depth experiences working as part of a high-performing team, actively participating in day-to-day activities to build analytical skills and a basic understanding of key processes.
Professional support: Interns will partner with high-performing employees who serve as resources and coaches, available to answer questions, help navigate challenging situations, and provide feedback.
A virtual speaker series: Wells Fargo’s top leaders provide insights into making the most of the summer experience and discuss trends in the financial services industry.
Organized networking activities: Opportunities for community involvement and networking with peers and employees across Wells Fargo.

In This Role, Interns Will:
• Participate in formal internship program activities, workshops, and various initiatives.
• Complete numerous assignments to become familiar with policies and procedures, focusing on low-to-medium complex tasks.
• Conduct research and financial analysis to assess client needs and identify optimal Wells Fargo products and services.
• Partner with relationship managers, product specialists, and credit underwriters to support real-time business efforts that drive client outcomes.
• Receive direction from a manager while exercising independent judgment, developing knowledge of compliance and risk management requirements.
• Prioritize work, apply attention to detail, meet deadlines, achieve goals, and work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environment.

Offers are made for specific office locations based on candidate preference and business needs, with specific Commercial Banking business placements notified prior to the program start.

Program Duration:
The internship is 10 weeks, scheduled from June to August 2026 (exact dates TBD and subject to change).

Ideal Candidate Qualifications:
Required Qualifications, US: 6+ months of work experience, or equivalent demonstrated through a combination of work experience, training, military experience, or education.
Desired Qualifications:
• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree with an expected graduation date between December 2026 or May/June 2027. All majors are welcome.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
• Intermediate Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint) skills.
• Involvement in extracurricular enrichment activities through volunteerism, student organizations, study abroad programs, leadership positions, or non-profit involvement.
• Proven ability to work effectively, as well as independently, in a collaborative, change-driven atmosphere.
• Energetic self-starter who proactively takes initiative, acts with urgency, remains curious, and has a genuine interest in learning and growth.
• Demonstrated knowledge, interest, and/or experience in finance, accounting, and sales.

• Boston, MA: $43.27/hr
• Charlotte, NC: $36.06/hr
• Chicago, IL: $39.90/hr
• Dallas, TX: $36.06/hr
• Minneapolis, MN: $36.06/hr
• Phoenix, AZ: $36.06/hr
*(The general pay range for the position is stated as $18.00 – $65.00, with specific rates listed per city.)•
