This job posting is for a Digital Technology Intern at GE Vernova.
Overview:
GE Vernova is seeking sharp, personable, and highly-organized interns eager to enhance their technical and professional skills while pursuing a career with significant potential. Interns will have the opportunity to learn from industry experts and engage in substantial projects with real-world implications, gaining practical experience with digital technologies.
What You’ll Do (Responsibilities & Opportunities):
• Interns will be assigned meaningful and impactful projects.
• The program includes team building and career development opportunities.
• The Digital Technology Intern position serves as a primary pipeline for full-time employment opportunities at GE Vernova, either as a direct hire or as a candidate for world-class early talent leadership programs, such as the Digital Technology Development Program (DTDP).
• Interns are hired to focus on specific areas within GE Vernova’s businesses, determined by position availability, interviewer assessment, and applicant preference.
• Potential Focus Areas include, but are not limited to: Product & Program Management, Cyber Security, Cloud & Network Technology, Enabling Functions, Data & Analytics, Data Science, AI, Engineering, and more.
• Digital intern assignments typically last 10 to 12 weeks and are dynamic and challenging, adapting to business needs.
• Interns will gain significant exposure to key IT and Software business leaders at GE Vernova and benefit from a global internship support network to accelerate their learning and development.

• Atlanta, Georgia

Employment Dates:
• May 2026 to August 2026 (Summer Internship).
• Co-Op opportunities may also be staffed and defined as applicable.
What You’ll Bring (Basic Qualifications):
• Must be currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree program at an accredited university or a credentialed software accelerator program.
• Eligible Majors: Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, Data & Analytics, Data Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or other relevant STEM majors with IT experience.
• Must maintain a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA (without rounding).
• Must have the ability to work in the US for an unlimited amount of time without sponsorship.

• Prior intern, co-op, or research experience in software, IT, or a relevant area.
• Leadership experience, both inside and outside the classroom.
• A strong commitment to a career in technology and a passion/aptitude for both software and information technology.
• Strong analytical and technical skills with experience in software industry standards and development tools.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to articulate clearly.
• Demonstrated creative problem solving and proactive learning.
• Ability to develop and maintain good customer relationships.
Benefits Available To You:
GE Vernova offers varied, competitive benefits to support its workforce in its mission to electrify and decarbonize the world.
• Pay: Ranges from $21.00/hr – $36.00/hr, based on the number of years of undergraduate/graduate field of study completed.
• Relocation Assistance: Co-op/Interns will be reimbursed for reasonable, proper, and documented expenditures incurred when initially reporting to work and returning to school/home upon assignment completion. Eligibility applies if the permanent address is greater than 50 miles from the work location.
• Housing Allowance: Co-op/Interns receive a weekly housing allowance to help offset living expenses if their permanent residence is at least 50 miles away from the work location.
• Employee Assistance Program: Provides 24/7 confidential assessment, counseling, and referral services.
• GE Vernova Retirement Savings Plan (RSP): Available after accumulating 90 days of service and meeting other plan eligibility requirements (eligibility occurs on the 1st of the month following the 90th day).
