Job Description

Role Summary:
Brightstar is seeking a detail-oriented and tech-savvy Facilities Planning Intern to join its Global Workplace Services team. This role is crucial in shaping a dynamic, flexible office environment. The intern will primarily support operations using Robin Powered, a workplace experience software, by uploading accurate floor plans, managing office space assignments, and visually documenting workspaces with photos and room data. The intern will also support planning and preparation for construction projects, including relocation management, in partnership with Facilities and Real Estate managers. Additionally, the role involves supporting day-to-day facilities operations and document management. This internship offers a valuable opportunity for individuals interested in workplace design, facilities management, or digital tools supporting modern hybrid offices.

Responsibilities:
Allocate and track office space assignments, including desk and room bookings.
Upload and manage images of meeting rooms and other office spaces within the Robin Powered tool.
Collaborate with facilities and IT teams to ensure data accuracy and alignment with physical spaces.
Assist with software testing and feedback to improve user experience.
Support documentation and best practices for future users of the tool.
Support office relocation and move efforts.
Inventory existing space and possess the ability to lift 25lbs.

Qualifications:
• Currently pursuing a degree in facilities management, architecture, construction, business, engineering, or a related field.
• Possesses strong attention to detail and the ability to follow layout/space guidelines.
Comfortable learning and using digital tools and workplace platforms.
• Must be onsite 5x a week in Providence and West Greenwich, with the ability to travel between sites.
