About the job: Legal Operations Intern
Job Title: Legal Operations Intern
Job Overview: This role is responsible for running legal documents and assisting with a variety of administrative duties. It offers a fantastic opportunity for aspiring lawyers to gain real-world experience and knowledge in the legal field, particularly in personal injury law.
Key Responsibilities (What You’ll Be Doing):
• Delivering legal documents to various locations, including courts, law firms, and government agencies.
• Providing support in client communication by answering phone calls and emails and scheduling appointments.
• Aiding in administrative tasks such as filing, organizing documents, photocopying, scanning, and faxing documents.
• Supporting the Operations Director with Special Projects.
• Navigating the DocRio filing cabinet to obtain training materials and firm-wide resources.
• Managing incoming and outgoing mail correspondence.
• Learning to use Litify to manage the remote correspondence log.
• Covering for the in-office Receptionist as needed.
• Helping with database management and mailing list management.
• Running of documents and firm errands as needed.
Required Qualifications (Who You Are):
• Must have a clean driving record with no speeding tickets.
• A minimum GPA of 3.5 or higher.
• Proven work history.
• Must be actively enrolled in an undergraduate program.
• Must have reliable transportation and be willing and able to run legal documents with mileage reimbursement.
• Ability to work between 15-20 hours per week.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work well in a team environment.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and writing skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

• Paid Position: $12.00 per hour.
• Flexible Schedule: Individual schedules are created based on the Firm’s needs to accommodate your classes. The position will start on Monday, August 18th.
