This opportunity is for an Internship Program at UFC.
Program Overview:
• Purpose: Designed to provide interns the opportunity to apply academic knowledge and skills in a real-world corporate setting, immersing them in daily departmental operations and involving them directly with tasks and projects that contribute to UFC’s growth.
• Eligibility: Open to any student currently enrolled in a degree-seeking program.
• Location: This is an on-site, in-person internship in Las Vegas, NV.
• Assistance: UFC does not provide relocation, housing, or transportation assistance.
• Program Dates: The Fall 2025 program will run from August 25, 2025, through November 21, 2025.
• Application Deadline: The application deadline for all Fall 2025 internships is July 25, 2025.
The Role and What You’ll Do:
As a Production Assistant Intern, your responsibilities will include:
• Assisting staff and crew during shoots.
• Assisting with the setup and tear-down of shoots.
• Logging footage into the production asset management system.
• Organizing media within the production asset management system.
• Creating video links for online distribution.
• Downloading content from third-party clients.
• Transcribing videos.
• Downloading videos as needed.
• Performing other tasks, duties, or projects as assigned.
You Have These (Required Qualifications and Skills):
• Academic Enrollment: Must be currently enrolled in an academic program directly relating to the position, specifically Television, Film, Communication, or Journalism majors.
• Academic Level: Junior, Senior, or Graduate-level preferred.
• Learning Orientation: Willingness to learn and advance production knowledge and skills, primarily in post-production and live television broadcasting.
• Software Proficiency:
• Proficient in Premiere, Photoshop, and After Effects.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Technical Familiarity: Comfortable using Mac-based products.
• Computer Skills: Knowledge of basic computer programs and a willingness to utilize and learn new programs.
