Job description
This Paid Intern position is located in Lehi, UT, United States (No Local). The role aims to support the Church’s needs by building teams that represent the diverse perspectives, broad life experiences, and backgrounds of its global membership.
The intern will primarily support the Global Vendor Team project managers. Their main responsibilities involve:
• Sourcing, coordinating, and developing projects that facilitate the creation of genealogical records and the enhancement of images for FamilySearch patrons.
• These efforts directly contribute to helping individuals discover and connect with their family history.
• The intern will be involved in initiating projects with approved vendors and collaborating closely with content experts to identify suitable projects, define operational requirements, and prepare detailed proposals.
• The team, which the intern supports, oversees these projects through each operational phase to ensure high-quality deliverables.
• The ultimate goal is to ensure these deliverables can be integrated into FamilySearch.org, enabling users to research, discover, and link generations of their ancestors.
Key operational Responsibilities for the intern include:
• Collaborating with the team to ensure timely delivery of internal, partner, and multi-service vendor operations.
• Supporting quality assurance efforts by reviewing project deliverables for accuracy and consistency.
• Assisting in drafting and managing documentation to facilitate and track progress within the FamilySearch workflow.
• Participating in required meetings and providing updates on assigned responsibilities.
• Contributing to special projects as delegated by the manager.
• Executing operational tasks to effectively support project managers.
