Position Summary

The Marketing Intern serves as a crucial link between Securaplane and its Customer base. The primary goal is to provide product and service information and resolve product and service issues. This role involves direct interaction with customers to generate product and service orders. The intern will support critical customer business workflows, including:

Order management process, from quoting to shipping.
Customer issue resolution, particularly concerning customer deliveries through payment.
• Ensuring contract and business compliance, requiring knowledge of trade export compliance.
• Covering processes and procedures related to both production and repair.

This is a year-round internship position with the potential to last through graduation. Candidates must be local to the Tucson/Oro Valley areas in Arizona.

Core Responsibilities

The intern will be responsible for a variety of tasks, primarily focused on marketing support, data analysis, and sales team assistance:

Marketing Collateral Development: Develop and create product-based marketing collateral to support the Sales team’s customer engagement.
Material Refresh: Refresh current marketing and promotional materials.
Sales Presentation Support: Assist with the development of sales presentations and product demonstration material for promotional activities.
Customer/Product Capture Plans: Support the completion of customer and product capture plans.
Sales Data Collection & Analysis: Collect and analyze historical sales and bookings data to understand sales activity broken down by customer, product, region, and segments.
Trend Analysis: Utilize sales and bookings data to develop and interpret trend analysis.
Performance Reporting: Develop sales and booking reports to identify actual performance versus forecast at the product, platform, and customer levels.
CRM Management: Review CRM (Salesforce) funnel management and assist the Sales team in maintaining opportunities in their current state.
Market Segmentation: Conduct market segmentation using the installed fleet database and present findings to territory sales managers.
Installed Product Database: Develop an installed product database by platform.
