About the Job: Artist Partnership Intern (Campus Intern)

About the Team:
The Artist Partnership team at TikTok plays a crucial role in unlocking opportunities for artists and labels, leveraging an engaged community that actively connects with artists and their music. Operating both globally and locally, the team collaborates with artists, managers, and labels. Their primary goal is to unleash the promotional and marketing power of TikTok, ultimately helping artists achieve success on the platform, gain traction on music streaming services, climb hit charts, and secure brand collaborations.

Responsibilities:
The Artist Partnership Intern will be responsible for a range of tasks critical to promoting music on TikTok:
Discover music with promotional potential and manage weekly pipelines to effectively match songs with appropriate promotional resources.
Specify campaign briefs and design incentive plans to target the most suitable creator segments based on specific campaign needs.
Collect feedback and generate insights crucial for the product development of TikTok’s music promotion platform and for iterating algorithmic promotion strategies.
Identify and monitor emerging music and trends, while also exploring new promotional opportunities and use cases to better leverage TikTok’s ecosystem for enhanced promotion capability.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:
Candidates must meet the following essential criteria:
• Ability to work a minimum of 3 Workdays For Internship.
• A Bachelor’s Degree Is Required.
• Possession of prior internship experience in fields such as music, marketing, tech, or entertainment.
• A strong passion with Music.
• Be deep lovers/users of TikTok.
• Demonstrate logical and critical thinking.
• Be quick learners and eager to take challenges and practice.

Preferred Qualifications:
The following qualifications are considered advantageous:
• Academic background in computer science, marketing, or math major.
• Familiarity with mainstream digital streaming platforms like Spotify is preferred.
• Ability to work under pressure, effectively plan and deliver on tight deadlines.
• Strong capability to collaborate cross-functionally and manage multiple tasks.
• Possession of a good data sense and product thinking.
• Being grounded and surefooted, with a high sense of responsibility.
• Proven ability to discover music/artists on TikTok and possess a clear sense and point of view about music marketing.

Job Information:

Compensation Description (Hourly) – Campus Intern:
The hourly rate for this position in the selected city is $23.75.
