About the Role:
As a Backend Intern at AgentCrafters.ai, you will gain hands-on experience in developing core components of a cutting-edge AI automation product. You will work alongside experienced engineers, contributing to real-world systems and learning about various aspects of modern backend development.
What You’ll Work On:
• Assist in developing and testing REST APIs and backend logic using Java + Spring Boot.
• Contribute to internal tools and services that support AI agent workflows.
• Work with databases (SQL & NoSQL) and learn about data flow in distributed systems.
• Collaborate with the AI and frontend teams to seamlessly integrate backend components.
• Gain exposure to cloud services, Git workflows, and startup-grade development cycles.
Core Technical Skills (Required):
• Basic proficiency in Java and an understanding of the Spring Boot framework.
• Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and SOLID principles.
• Familiarity with creating or consuming REST APIs.
• Comfortable using Git and platforms like GitHub or Bitbucket for version control.
• Exposure to relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL, and the ability to write basic SQL queries.
Bonus Skills (Good to Have):
• Experience or interest in Supabase, Firebase, or similar backend-as-a-service tools.
• Curiosity about Docker and container-based development.
• Understanding of authentication protocols like JWT or OAuth.
• Participation in open-source projects, coding contests, or personal backend builds.
