Job Description: Greeter/Cashier
Overview:
The Greeter/Cashier position is for a friendly and outgoing individual who excels in providing excellent customer service. This role is crucial as the “welcoming face” of the establishment, responsible for greeting guests, assisting with inquiries, and efficiently handling cashiering duties. The successful candidate will play a key role in creating a positive first impression and ensuring a smooth check-in/check-out experience for guests.
Summary of Responsibilities:
• Welcome Guests: Greet guests with a warm and friendly demeanor, fostering a positive and inviting atmosphere.
• Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, including answering inquiries and assisting guests with their various needs.
• Cash Handling: Efficiently handle cash transactions, ensuring accuracy and strict compliance with company procedures.
• Work Area Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized work area, specifically including the cashier station and lobby.
• Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with other hotel departments to ensure seamless guest experiences.
• Local Recommendations: Offer suggestions and recommendations regarding nearby attractions, dining options, and activities to enhance guest stays.
• Issue Resolution: Demonstrate a proactive approach in resolving any guest issues or concerns that may arise.
• Brand Standards & Culture: Uphold the hotel/resort’s brand standards and actively contribute to a positive team culture.
Qualifications:
• Customer Service: Excellent customer service skills are required.
• Communication: Strong communication skills are essential.
• Language: Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently.
• Disposition: High energy and enthusiasm.
• Multitasking: Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail.
• Experience: Prior experience with cash handling and point-of-sale (POS) systems.
• Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
• Availability: Ability to work flexible schedules, which includes weekends and holidays.

Salary Range:
The salary for the Greeter/Cashier position is USD $15.00 – USD $15.00 /Hr.
