Job Title: Community Relations Intern

Role Summary:
Starteryou is seeking a driven and creative Community Relations Intern to help organize and elevate its online presence across various platforms. This role is crucial for managing the company’s digital footprint, from overseeing the Discord server to refining brand voice on social media, with the ultimate goal of building meaningful connections with student and early-career audiences. The ideal candidate will be someone highly proficient in online communities, capable of bringing structure to a growing digital presence, and passionate about engagement.

Responsibilities:
• Manage and organize the Discord server (prior experience is a must).
• Assist in cleaning up and structuring Starteryou’s presence on Reddit, Instagram, Substack, Twitch, and YouTube.
• Schedule and post engaging content, updates, and community polls across platforms.
• Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and community discussions promptly.
• Brainstorm and assist in executing community events and digital campaigns.
• Track basic engagement metrics and provide suggestions for growth.
Bonus: Assist with visual content creation if possessing strong graphic design skills.

Requirements/Qualifications:
Discord expertise: Proven experience running or moderating active servers, including setting up roles, bots, and permissions.
• Strong communication skills and a natural online presence.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple platforms concurrently.
• A self-starter who takes initiative and consistently meets deadlines.
• Familiarity with Instagram, Reddit, Twitch, and other creator tools.
Bonus: Graphic design experience (e.g., Canva, Adobe products).

Location:
Remote (U.S. preferred).
