About the Job
Role Title: Social Media Content Intern
Role Summary: This internship involves working closely with the CMO and the marketing team to develop content strategy, film and edit on-brand content, and build engagement across XTETIC’s social platforms. The intern will regularly film at the North Hollywood HQ and attend occasional on-site events or client visits for content capture.
Ideal Candidate Profile: This position is ideal for college students studying marketing, communications, PR, or digital media who are looking to gain hands-on experience in the luxury skincare and aesthetics industry.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with the Communications Manager and Marketing team on social media content strategy.
• Film, edit, and publish original content for XTETIC’s Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn platforms.
• Contribute to personal branding and content creation for the CEO’s personal page.
• Assist in managing the monthly social calendar and post scheduling.
• Attend select XTETIC events and client visits to capture video and “behind-the-scenes” (BTS) moments.
• Create Reels and other short-form videos that align with current beauty and aesthetics trends.
• Source and edit user-generated content (UGC) and influencer collaborations.
• Support day-to-day engagement with followers, manage direct messages (DMs), and monitor tagged content.
• Track social media performance metrics and provide content recommendations based on engagement data.
Qualifications:
• A creative and hard-working college student currently studying Marketing, Communications, Media, or a related field.
• Demonstrates a strong interest in the aesthetics, skincare, beauty, or health/wellness industries.
• Must be based in Los Angeles and capable of commuting to the North Hollywood HQ and occasional off-site events.
• Confident in filming and directing short-form content using an iPhone or camera.
• Proficient in content creation and editing tools such as Canva, CapCut, Adobe Express, InShot, or Final Cut.
• Possesses a strong grasp of current social media trends, platform best practices, and strategies for growing engagement.
• Exhibits excellent visual and written communication skills.
• Must be organized, reliable, creative, and enthusiastic about pitching new ideas.
• Bonus: Experience with analytics or insights tools (e.g., Instagram Insights, TikTok Creator Tools).
• Mandatory: Must receive academic credit for the internship.
