This opportunity is for a Paid 6-month Marketing Internship at Amazon, managed by the EMEA Student Programs Team.

Role Purpose:
The intern will play an integral role in marketing, focusing on planning, executing, and measuring the performance of marketing campaigns. The core objective is to build and engage customers through demand and lead generation campaigns, creating effective strategies that contribute to Amazon’s long-term growth.

Key Job Responsibilities:
Benchmarking: Research and evaluate onsite merchandising best practices globally.
Data-Driven Recommendations: Develop recommendations based on data analysis.
Performance Monitoring & Optimization: Continuously monitor and optimize the performance of marketing campaigns to ensure a flawless customer experience and sustainable growth.
Survey Mechanisms: Develop tools and methods for gathering feedback and insights.
Process Optimization: Build strategies aimed at improving internal processes.
Reporting: Summarize campaign performance, key insights, and actionable recommendations for various stakeholders.
Partnership & Influence: Establish trusted partnerships with business teams to influence and support data-driven business decisions, promoting improvements and cost reductions.

About The Team:
As a Marketing Intern, you will be assigned to one of two key business units:
Amazon Retail: This team focuses on improving the selection and overall shopping experience for customers worldwide, encompassing a vast array of products from books and fashion to electronics, grocery, movies, music, and health & beauty items.
Amazon Fresh: This team manages Amazon’s in-store and grocery delivery services, designed to simplify the shopping experience. Customers can find a wide assortment of high-quality produce, meat, seafood, and a range of freshly prepared foods.

Basic Qualifications:
Availability: Must be available to start a 6-month, full-time (40 hours/week) internship between January and December 2025 (flexible start dates).
Education: Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree, with an anticipated graduation date after the completion of the internship.
Language Skills:
• Fluent written and verbal communication in English (C1 level or higher).
• Fluent written and verbal communication in Italian (B2 level or higher).
Location: Must be based in Milan for the entire duration of the internship. A relocation package may be offered based on eligibility criteria.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Studies within Business, Marketing, Economics, Engineering, or similar fields are preferred.
