Job Description

Job Title: Social Media & Digital Marketing Intern

Commitment: 5–10 hours/week, fully remote

Start Date: September 2025 (Fall 2025)

Compensation: Unpaid for the first 3 months, with the opportunity to transition to a paid team member based on mutual fit and performance.

Overview:
SHiFT is seeking a creative, motivated, and purpose-driven Social Media & Digital Marketing Intern to support its Fall 2025 Beta Launch. This unique opportunity allows the intern to be part of a movement that fuses storytelling, therapy, and personal development. The role is ideal for someone passionate about personal growth, digital strategy, and creating impactful content.

Key Responsibilities:
The intern will work directly with the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) to:
• Support and implement SHiFT’s social media and content strategy.
• Help develop, schedule, and post engaging content across various platforms including Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
• Monitor analytics and report on performance to aid in optimizing campaigns.
• Assist with influencer outreach and social engagement efforts.
• Stay updated on current trends in wellness, digital marketing, and mental health culture.
• Provide fresh ideas and creative input during content planning meetings.

Required Qualifications:
• Current student enrolled in UF’s Master’s in Digital Marketing program (or a related marketing field).
• A genuine interest in personal growth and mental wellness.
• Proficiency with Instagram, TikTok, Canva, and social scheduling tools (e.g., Later, Buffer).
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Demonstrates creativity, curiosity, and self-motivation.

Bonus Qualifications:
• Experience with short-form video editing (e.g., CapCut, Adobe Rush).
