Position Overview
This role is for a Marketing Intern within the Marketing & Business Development Department. The position is Remote and has a duration of 3 to 6 months, with the potential for extension. This opportunity is particularly suited for individuals who are passionate about the medical technology industry, have an interest in B2B (Business-to-Business) marketing, and are keen to work within international markets. As a Marketing Intern, you will play a supportive role in critical initiatives aimed at brand development, expanding digital outreach, and fostering business growth across various global markets for Universal Balloon Medical.
Key Responsibilities (Detailed)
• Marketing Content Development: You will be actively involved in assisting with the creation of a diverse range of marketing materials. This includes drafting and refining product brochures, developing engaging PowerPoint presentations, contributing to the production of videos, and crafting compelling content for social media posts.
• Trade Show Preparation Support: This responsibility involves contributing to the successful planning and execution of trade show participations. Tasks may include coordinating logistics for the booth, preparing visually appealing product visuals, and organizing various promotional materials to attract attendees.
• Market Research: You will conduct thorough research activities to gather critical insights. This includes analyzing competitors to understand their strategies, identifying and segmenting customer groups, and tracking significant international trends that could impact the business or market.
• Website and Digital Platform Maintenance: You will be responsible for keeping the company’s online presence current and accurate. This involves regularly updating and maintaining the company website and other associated digital platforms.
• Customer Case Studies and Success Stories Coordination: This task requires collaboration with the sales and technical teams. You will assist in gathering information and drafting compelling narratives for customer case studies and success stories, highlighting the value and impact of Universal Balloon Medical’s solutions.
• Campaign Results Analysis and Optimization: You will help in evaluating the performance of marketing campaigns. This includes assisting in the analysis of campaign results to identify what worked well and what could be improved, and subsequently suggesting optimization strategies for future campaigns.
• Marketing Material Translation (EN/CN): A crucial part of this role involves translating various marketing materials between English and Chinese. You will also be responsible for ensuring tone consistency across both languages to maintain brand identity and message integrity.
• Administrative and Coordination Support: Beyond specific marketing tasks, you will also provide general administrative and coordination support as needed to ensure the smooth operation of the marketing department.
Qualifications (Detailed)
• Academic Background: Applicants should be an undergraduate student currently pursuing a degree in fields such as Marketing, International Business, Biomedical Engineering, Life Science, or other related disciplines.
• Industry Interest: A strong interest in the medical device or broader healthcare industry is essential, indicating a passion for the sector in which the company operates.
• Language Proficiency: You must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Chinese, which is vital for internal and external communications, especially given the international focus and translation tasks.
