About the Role
Ready to shape the future of Curb’s brand impact and growth? We’re on the lookout for a Fall Marketing Intern to join our dynamic team. Working closely with our Marketing and Design team, you’ll play a pivotal role in executing integrated marketing campaigns that embody the essence of Curb for both drivers and riders. This opportunity promises an exhilarating experience in a fast-paced setting, where you’ll make your mark by helping support Curb’s social media, communication, content creation, and partnership efforts from start to finish. You’ll also be responsible for managing content calendars and keeping the team organized, ensuring smooth execution of our marketing strategies.
Your Mission
As a Marketing Intern, your mission extends beyond just supporting the wider marketing team; it involves suggesting new and creative ideas to optimize Curb’s marketing strategy. You will help drive impact through various initiatives, with the primary goal of effectively engaging with our users and boosting brand visibility.
Responsibilities:
• Manage and maintain a social media content calendar, ensuring timely scheduling and alignment with marketing priorities.
• Develop and pitch new social media content ideas tailored to key audiences, collaborating with the design team to bring creative concepts to life.
• Publish and schedule content across social platforms using Sprout Social.
• Track and analyze weekly social media performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations for optimization.
• Monitor Curb’s brand presence across social platforms, staying on top of trends, conversations, and opportunities for engagement.
• Write compelling and brand-aligned copy for rider and driver communications.
• Provide support on brand partnership initiatives and influencer collaborations as needed.
• Participate in team brainstorms, marketing meetings, and cross-functional projects to contribute to broader brand and content efforts.
Qualifications We Value:
• Entrepreneurial spirit with creative thinking, a strong sense of industry trends, and curiosity around emerging digital and social platforms.
• Strong writing, communication, and data-driven decision-making skills, with an understanding of how content drives engagement and conversions.
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Collaborative mindset with excellent interpersonal and project management abilities.
• Applied understanding of basic marketing principles, including social media strategy, content performance, SEO best practices, and paid media tactics.
• Interest or experience in optimizing content for discoverability and supporting paid social media campaigns is a plus.
Requirements:
• Ideal start date is September 2 or earlier.
• Opportunities to extend the internship beyond the fall term are available.
• Available to undergraduate and graduate students.
• Fluent in English.
• NYC-based, available for 2-3 days in-office work.
• Stellar copywriting skills.
• Experience using and creating content for platforms like Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, X (Twitter), and LinkedIn.
• Prior marketing internship experience.
• Bonus: Experience with marketing tools.
