Position: Food Service Management Intern
Location: Boise State University, Boise, ID (1910 W University Dr)
Pay Rate: $15.00 per hour
Schedule: To be determined based on class schedule and business needs.

General Description:
This internship offers hands-on experience working closely with leaders in the hospitality group at Boise State University. You will develop skills and competencies necessary for success in the hospitality industry, gaining valuable experience in:

Job Responsibilities (May include any or all):
• Executing operational standards
• Financials, P+L, Loss Prevention
• Safety and Quality Assurance: Safe food in a safe environment

• Operational support of serving platforms
• Working in different settings: FOH, BOH, Catering, Marketing and Administration
• People management (schedules, time management)
• Inventory management

Job Summary:
• This is a paid internship.
• Not eligible for benefits such as medical, relocation, or housing.
• The role may involve periods of temporary layoff during university breaks when food service needs are reduced. Depending on business needs, you may be required to work year-round, potentially at a different location during break periods.
