Job Summary

Crystal Springs Uplands School seeks a seasonal, part-time, non-exempt (0.5 FTE, 10-month) Institutional Support Intern to join our team. Reporting directly to the Chief of Staff, this role offers a unique opportunity to gain valuable experience supporting the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) and contributing to key institutional initiatives across various departments and divisions.

Essential Functions

• Exhibit a passion for Crystal, history and archives or a passion for video development and marketing
• Incorporate problem solving techniques with strong communication and relationship building skills
• Working with video, design and google software
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop innovative and meaningful solutions
• Integrate technology in effective ways that enhance the process and delivers efficiencies
• Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Chief of Staff and the Senior Leadership Team, including scheduling, correspondence, and document preparation.
• Assist with the coordination and execution of institutional events and programs, from initial planning stages through successful completion. This may include logistics, vendor communication, and on-site support.
• Support experiential education initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of impactful learning opportunities.
• Collaborate with various departments and divisions to gather information, coordinate projects, and ensure seamless communication for cross-functional initiatives.
• Contribute to special projects as assigned by the Chief of Staff or SLT, which may involve research, data compilation, and presentation development.
• Actively participate in team meetings and contribute to a positive and productive work environment.

Travel Required

Light travel between the Middle School and Upper School campuses

Required Education And Experience

• High School degree
• Operational knowledge of Google applications and Gmail
• Operational knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Good communication skills verbally and written
• Demonstrated organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Proactive, adaptable, and a quick learner with a strong work ethic.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a team and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
• A genuine interest in supporting institutional initiatives and contributing to the success of the organization.

Preferred Education And Experience

• Enrolled in college or a college degree
• Previous Crystal alumni – familiarity of Crystal’s community and culture
