Job Description
Pacific Supply is seeking entry-level candidates for an AP/AR Representative Intern position. While previous experience in the building industry is preferred, it is not required.
Under the direction of the AP/AR Supervisor, the intern will be responsible for a variety of clerical duties related to accounts payable and accounts receivable, including scanning invoices, performing inquiries, price approval, and invoice posting.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Scan, bind, and archive invoices, maintaining hard copies until processed for payment.
• Inquire and post invoices for assigned yards, verifying quantity and pricing accuracy.
• Perform data entry of invoices, including invoice verification and processing of non-purchase order invoices.
• Resolve discrepancies between purchase orders and vendor invoices with plants, vendors, and the merchandising department.
Job Requirements:
• A minimum of one year of clerical experience in accounts payable is preferred.
• Requires strong math, reading, and writing skills.
• Requires good verbal and written communication skills and a professional customer service manner.
