Job Description

Role: Creative & Design Intern

Overview:
NoGood is seeking a Creative & Design Intern who is deeply passionate about crafting compelling visual experiences. The ideal candidate possesses a solid understanding of both results-driven marketing designs and fundamental design principles, constantly staying updated on digital design trends. This role thrives in an iterative design culture, welcoming numerous ideas, revisions, and creative inputs to shape the best possible outcomes. The intern should be detail-oriented, organized, enjoy implementing visual systems, and embrace a startup culture with an energetic, team-oriented, and “all-hands-on-deck” attitude.

Qualifications & Requirements:
Education: Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a college program with a focus on Graphic Design, Motion Design, Marketing, Communication, Art Direction, or Advertising.
Skills: Demonstrated graphic design and motion design skills, with an understanding of motion graphics basics and designing for social-first platforms.
Key Attributes: Strong design ability, fascination with the digital and social landscape, high capacity to learn, willingness to contribute, and a desire to methodically build meaningful projects from the ground up.

Key Responsibilities (“You’ll Do”):
• Work on NoGood brand projects across various formats, including motion graphics, video, social media content, and website design.
Share unique design perspectives with the team.
• Provide support on specific client work as needed.
Translate creative copy and strategies into impactful visual assets.
Follow design trends and experiment with emerging tools and techniques.
• Maintain a strong pulse on internet culture, meme culture, and social media trends.
Create “scroll-stopping” visual assets for diverse platforms such as social media (organic and paid), websites, email campaigns, videos, and digital ad campaigns.
Collaborate with the team on idea generation, design solutions, and social media planning.
• Undertake other responsibilities as assigned based on creative team needs.

Required Skills & Experience (“You Have”):
• Eagerness to utilize and develop growing skills in creative design, learning from industry professionals.
• Active engagement with digital culture and media, including memes, social media, and videos.
• Experience in creating motion graphics, social media assets (organic/paid), and designing websites.
• Ability to translate brand guidelines and identities into powerful designs.
• Strong communication skills, both visually and verbally.
• Proven experience and passion for motion design and creating motion graphics.
Proficiency in Figma and After Effects, with basic skills in Photoshop, Illustrator, and Premier Pro.
• Knowledge of web design and other design tools is a plus.
• Capability to adapt a design for different channels and formats.
• Well-versed in understanding resolution, dimensions, and various graphic file formats.
• Fluent in all major social media platforms, particularly Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Twitter, and YouTube.
