Job Description
The Supply Chain Intern role at Aramark offers a hands-on opportunity to understand the entire product movement through the supply chain, from the initial ordering of raw materials to the final delivery of finished goods to customers. Interns are likely to gain exposure to industry-standard software, such as SAP, and various inventory management tools.
COMPENSATION: The hourly rate for this position is $15.00.

Job Responsibilities:
• Assist commodity managers and buyers with supplier qualification and management processes.
• Analyze customer demand and current inventory levels to inform decision-making.
• Provide support for order fulfillment processes and operations within production facilities.
• Contribute to maintaining accurate master data within systems like SAP.
• Create and distribute various business reports as needed.
Key Projects You Might Work On:
• Analyzing inventory levels and collaborating to set appropriate stock targets.
• Supporting the day-to-day operations of the logistics team.
• Evaluating supplier performance and maintaining scorecards to track their effectiveness.
• Assisting with various process improvement initiatives across the supply chain.

Qualifications:
• Candidates are typically pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or a closely related field.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, is required.
• Demonstrated strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Possession of keen attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Must be able to follow basic safety procedures and precautions due to potential physical risks and exposure to hazardous chemicals.
This role may involve physical demands such as lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and/or extended walking and standing. It may also require the use of uniforms and/or Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
