Job Description:
Kennesaw State University is seeking applications for a pool of open rank, part-time and limited-term faculty positions in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) for the 2025-2026 academic year. These positions are on an as-needed, semester-by-semester basis, with rank determined at the time of hiring and commensurate with credentials. The positions require work to be performed in the state of Georgia.
Responsibilities:
• Teaching undergraduate and/or graduate courses in Electrical and Computer Engineering areas including:
• Circuits and electronics
• Electromagnetics
• Signal processing
• Digital design
• Embedded programming
• Networking
• Most courses are face-to-face and may have daytime or evening meeting times.
• Teaching assignments will be based on earned degrees and SACSCOC Faculty Credentials Guidelines.
Required Qualifications:
• To teach undergraduate courses:
• A minimum of a Master’s degree, or the foreign equivalent, in Electrical and/or Computer Engineering or a closely related discipline is required at the time of hire.
• OR
• A minimum of a Master’s degree, or the foreign equivalent, in a non-related discipline with 18 graduate credit hours in the teaching discipline is required at the time of hire.
• To teach graduate courses:
• A Terminal/Doctorate degree, or the foreign equivalent, in Electrical and/or Computer Engineering or a related discipline is required at the time of hire.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Relevant industry experience
• Prior teaching experience
