About Memorial Hospital Belleville and Shiloh:
• Memorial Hospital Belleville: An acute care hospital offering medical and surgical services, critical and emergency care (including Children’s at Memorial). It provides a full range of diagnostic and treatment services, including heart and vascular care. It is an accredited Chest Pain Center with PCI and designated as an Acute Stroke Ready Hospital. It is also an accredited Lung Cancer Screening Center and a Magnet®-recognized organization for nursing excellence.
• Memorial Hospital Shiloh: A 94-bed, all-private suite hospital recognized with Magnet status. It provides emergency care, labor & delivery, nursery, medical and surgical services, and critical care.
• Food & Nutrition Department: Responsible for providing high-quality nutrition services to patients, staff, and visitors. Services also include vending machines and meeting/special event catering.

Role Purpose:
The Porter/Dishwasher is responsible for performing a variety of food service functions.
Responsibilities:
• Provides customer service in a professional and friendly manner, and follows food safety and portion guidelines.
• Assembles meals according to the menu, diet order, and correct protocol.
• Ensures the work area is set up and supplies and products are organized before, during, and after the shift.
• Cleans and sanitizes the workstation and utensils.
• Uses equipment and materials properly and safely.
Experience:
• Minimum: No experience required.
• Supervisor Experience: Not required.
Preferred Requirements:
• Education: High School Diploma or GED.
