About the Job: Part-Time Manager Opportunity
This is a Part-Time Manager position at Claire’s.
Job Description:
As a Part-time Manager, key responsibilities include:
• Supporting the Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager in achieving retail store targets by driving sales.
• Opening and closing the store in the absence of any other management, ensuring the store trades safely and legally at such times.
• Delivering sales through friendly and efficient customer service, ensuring customers have a fun and enjoyable shopping experience.
• Demonstrating Claire’s products and assisting customers with queries using product knowledge.
• Assisting with various store operations such as processing deliveries, visual merchandising, stock takes, markdowns, and promotions.
• Ear piercing, for which full training will be provided.
• Ensuring the store looks presentable and inviting to customers.
Qualifications:
• Some high school education is required.
• A minimum of 1 year of retail experience.
• Excellent verbal/written communication and organizational skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• A strong understanding of the importance of Customer Service.
• Sound understanding of mathematics and strong reading comprehension skills.
Physical Demands:
• Ability to stand during scheduled shifts.
• Ability to maneuver up to 25 lbs regularly and up to 75 lbs occasionally.
• Bending, stooping, extended reaching, climbing ladders, and step stools while placing merchandise and assisting customers.
• Ability to operate a POS (Point of Sale) system.
Compensation:
• The compensation range for this position is $9.50 – $11.00 per hour.
• Claire’s ensures all positions are compensated at or above the legally mandated minimum wage for the location.
• Final compensation is determined by factors like relevant work experience, education, certifications, skills, and geographic location.
