Job Description: Environmental Service Aide

Position Overview

The Environmental Service Aide is responsible for maintaining an assigned area in a clean, safe, and sanitary condition. This involves strictly adhering to prescribed cleaning techniques and diligently following all prescribed safety standards.

Primary Department or Work Location
• Environmental Services, UHS Wilson Medical Center

Primary Work Shift
• Evening

Scheduled Weekly Hours
• 24 hours per week

Compensation Range
$17.05 – $22.17 per hour, with the exact rate depending on experience.

Education/Experience

Minimum Required:
• Ability to comprehend and follow oral and/or written instructions.
• Capability to follow and identify precautions, hazardous material labeling, and other safety-related written materials.
Preferred:
High School Diploma or equivalent.
One to two years of housekeeping/environmental services and floor care experience.
